Stories
FRACTURED.
People whose hands know things their mouths cannot fully name. People who are present in a way the world keeps trying to optimize away. FRACTURED is looking for them.
THE PROJECT
FRACTURED is a prestige documentary-narrative hybrid series. Traveling — or preparing to travel — to find people who are deeply, genuinely connected to real, embodied life. Not performance. Not content. Not brand.
Makers. Builders. Spiritual practitioners. Skilled laborers. Farmers. Musicians. Philosophers who never called themselves philosophers. People who wake up and do something real with their bodies, their minds, their time.
The thesis: in a world that has become almost entirely abstracted — screens, platforms, algorithms, AI — there is a deep hunger for what cannot be automated. For what requires a human body and a human life to produce. For what is irreducibly real.
These people exist. Their stories deserve to reach the people who have forgotten that this life is possible. That is what this project is for.
“People whose hands know things their mouths cannot fully articulate.”
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
Makers & Craftspeople
Woodworkers, metalworkers, jewelers, potters, weavers, glassblowers — anyone whose hands make real things.
Builders & Skilled Laborers
Electricians, plumbers, carpenters, masons, mechanics — people who keep the physical world running.
Spiritual Practitioners
Anyone with a real, lived, embodied spiritual practice — not performance, but actual devotion.
Farmers & Land Workers
People who work the earth. Who know seasons and soil and the patience of growing things.
Musicians & Sound Workers
Classical, folk, jazz, traditional — anyone for whom music is not career but life.
Philosophers & Thought Workers
People who live by ideas. Who cannot stop thinking. Who see the world in systems and questions.
Anyone Who Doesn't Fit A Category
If you read this list and thought "none of these" — you are exactly who I'm looking for.
TELL ME YOUR STORY
If something in this project is calling to you — if you recognize yourself or someone you know in what's being described — reach out. Send the story. It will be read. Every word of it. That is not a promise. That is the whole reason this form exists.
No stories in the archive yet. Yours could be the first.
